In 2006, itelligence was awarded SAP Gold Partner status in Germany, followed by the USA in 2007. With its comprehensive service portfolio - ranging from SAP strategy consulting, licensing through to proprietary industry-specific SAP solutions and outsourcing & services - itelligence generated total revenues of MEUR 216.6 in 2008.
How where the results for the third quarter 2009 / first nine months of 2009?
itelligence AG has increased its revenues in the first nine months of 2009 by 2.7% from MEUR 154.1 to MEUR 158.3 in spite of the continuing challenging market environment. While revenues had been down year-on-year in the second quarter, they stabilized in the third quarter at exactly the previous year's level of MEUR 52.3. As of the end of the third quarter, orders on hand amounted to MEUR 156.5 (previous year: MEUR 154.8).
EBIT amounted to MEUR 7.0 after the first nine months of 2009 (previous year: MEUR 9.7). This included bad debt allowances on receivables, losses on fixed price projects and reorganization measures of around MEUR 3.0. This resulted in an EBIT margin of 4.4% (previous year: 6.3%). In the third quarter of 2009, itelligence generated EBIT of MEUR 3.3 after MEUR 3.8 in the same quarter of the previous year. The EBIT margin was therefore 6.2% (previous quarter: 7.3%).
What is itelligence's target for 2009?
The Management Board of itelligence AG expects to achieve its forecasted revenues target of between MEUR 220 and MEUR 230 in 2009 as a whole (previous year: MEUR 216.6). The EBIT margin for the whole year is expected to be at the upper end of the 4.7% to 5.2% range (fiscal year 2008: 6.3%). Thus, itelligence expects to generate further growth despite the contraction in the IT services market.

Two of the key partner statuses that itelligence has been awarded with by SAP to date are SAP Global Partner Services and SAP Global Partner Hosting. itelligence has been a SAP Global Partner Services since 2003 and is thus part of a select group of 17 companies worldwide overall. 2004, SAP acknowledged itelligence's extensive experience in hosting by according it Global Partner Hosting status.
In addition, SAP awards special expertise partnerships to partners as a seal of quality. In appointing itelligence as a special expertise partner, SAP is rewarding both its outstanding industry knowledge and technology knowledge. The special expertise program enables SAP to pursue the goal of developing market fields together with partners. SAP partners must demonstrate their service capability for each individual special expertise partnership again in audits carried out every year.
In December 2006, itelligence was one of the first partners worldwide to be appointed a SAP special expertise partner for enterprise service-oriented architecture (SOA). Other important partnerships in this field include: SAP special expertise partner for Global Trade Services, PLM (product lifecycle management) and the special expertise partnership Duet. itelligence is one of the first German SAP partners to enable access from a Windows application to the SAP system with the Duet software. When was itelligence AG founded?
itelligence AG, listed in the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse - FWB), was founded in 2000 through the merger of the Bielefeld-based SAP service provider, SVC AG Schmidt Vogel Consulting (established in 1989) and the Hamburg-based individual software specialist, APCON AG (established in 1992).

The third quarter was marked by a staff policy with an eye on the Company's strategic growth course. In the past three months, itelligence has increased its focus on training employees and improving international cooperation between its experts and its high potentials. The new generation of the DELTa (Develop Expert and Leadership Talent) high potential program marks its fifth successful year and kicked off with an opening workshop in Berlin in September. The program will again illuminate key strategic issues at itelligence in the form of project work, at the same time developing participants' social skills over the year. Project management skills will be developed further locally, whether in project manager training in Germany or at comprehensive project management workshops in Eastern Europe.
